We Are Now In The Age Of Aquarius, Started 12/21/12--What Is It?

There's a lot to be said for this song. The 5th Dimension knew exactly what was going on! The Age of Aquarius is the driving force of complete transformation. It's responsible for waking people up to their higher consciousness, and it's really shaking things up. Literally peeling back the layers and causing plenty of havoc as it makes room for the new values of love, brotherhood, unity, and integrity. Everything from the Piscean value system is being exposed, shattered and taken down. The planet has been in Pisces for over 2,000 years, which was a dark and murky influence. I'm happy to say, we're not under that influence anymore! This is an exciting time to be alive as we live to experience this massive evolution. Like I said, everything is in the process of undergoing a major renovation. The dark age of Pisces has been shoved aside while Aquarius sheds new light. Major changes in areas such as, governments, corporations, individuals, and even personal relationships, are detonating. Many call this a disaster as the world appears to be falling apart, but is it?
The Aquarian Age points us in the direction of our own evolution in consciousness. Everybody is being asked to make a choice. We can cling to the old outdated values or adopt the new evolving ones. Our personal peace and happiness will depend on our choices, and whether we like it or not, this change is taking place. Those who resist, or for whatever reason, find they cannot make the change, they will be left in the dust, feeling isolated and confused. There seems to be a separation between humans right now. Even families are feeling this unique but powerful divide.
The Age of Aquarius is the AGE OF FREEDOM. Another key trait of this new age is "humanitarianism without prejudice or preference." This could represent the emergence of pro-active intergovernmental organizations and unified global movements. It could mark, for the first time in human history, the ability to finally learn to work together for the betterment of the entire world as a unified 'whole.' When people harmonizes together under the guided influence of Aquarius, everyone and everything wins!
We are ALL experiencing theses shifts in one way or another as we travel the path from Pisces to Aquarius. Admit it, something odd is happening to you and to the people you love, and you know it.
This coming new era will usher in a period of group consciousness. Aquarius and Leo are polar opposites. As we march further into the Age of Aquarius, the "intensive self-consciousness of Leo" should expand into the "group awareness of Aquarius." In other words, the individual should become the universal while still maintaining individuality. You will notice your personal Identity will somehow feel like it's being tested, which it is! It's undeniable that people are connecting on some sort of higher synchronistic level. Connections are being made unexpectedly, but by no means, coincidental. This is evidence of the universal shift of consciousness. Eventually, under this Aquarian influence, it (singular ego based thoughts) will be lost for the good of the whole. Yet personal spiritual identity would remain intact. In a new and developed consciousness, everything will be given freely on demand to meet a need. Aware individuals will not conceive that they are lacking anything. What we give out of love grows, not diminishes. We will become "spiritual beings having a human experience," instead of human beings having a worldly experience.
We are all spiritual beings, and we are learning how to become masters of our own spirituality. I many ways we are all metamorphosing into a higher spiritual place. Remember, we are all combined masculine and feminine energy. These two opposites have not been so able, or should I say willing, to coexist together. Generally one dominates. However, at this place in time, there is a merging between the opposites, the masculine, and the feminine. These two energies within each of us will once again work together to know God. And, they will act on divine inspiration, bringing messages from the divine that will manifest into the world. One of the biggest changes will be the end of selfish desire and the beginning of a more selfless free expression of the soul, projected towards humanity. Remember, there will always be those who resist, but will they win? Probably not. Unfortunately for those individuals, life may become a dismal and lonely place, lost in confusion.
The radical social changes in the 1960s happened when the conjunction of the planet Uranus occurred. Uranus is a planet ruled by the sign Aquarius and the coming New Age. Those events represented the changes needed for the Age of Aquarius. Is it ironic that The 5th Dimension released their astrological hit during that era? Probably not! The major part of the change began in 1987 at the time of the Harmonic Convergence. A transition began at this time heralding increased spirituality and harmony among people, which is why it's so very interesting that we are witnessing a force of evil trying to contradict, that, which is written in the stars (an example of THOSE who refuse to change with the Aquarian metamorphous, or prefer to remain engaged within the egos need for power) For some reason, this force believes they can UNDO that which has already been set into motion by our divine creator. My hunches tell me they will not succeed. Too many people, including myself, lived as part of that movement. We were part of that evolution and are quite unwilling to even consider the notion that there is any racial tension still in existence in America. We are not buying the lies because higher powers are at work, and it is within our higher power of consciousness that our intuition refuses any such notion, period. I found an article from 1975, explaining The Age Aquarius as it began to emerge:
"...the sign Aquarius into which sign our sun is now entering, it's three decanates, Saturn, Mercury, and Venus, bringing inevitable difficulty, illumination, and brotherly love. On the ordinary wheel (spiritually undeveloped man), in all outer affairs, Saturn controls, and we consequently find ourselves today in a state of chaos and trouble. But, as far as the consciousness of the race is concerned, Mercury is becoming increasingly active. A steady illumination is taking place and light is being thrown on all problems - light on government and politics through experiments and the study of great and basic ideologies; light on the material nature of the world through all the many branches of science; light on humanity itself through education, philosophy, and psychology. This light is spreading down to the very darkest places in our planet and its many forms of life." Esoteric Astrology, Alice Bailey, 1975.
As you can see, things are changing, and things are definitely being brought into the light. The time is here, and the changes that we are living through, though at times seem very difficult, confusing and downright bazaar at times, are worth every challenge as people grow to become the human beings we were intended to be.... on our beautiful planet earth as it was intended to be.
